Environment Artist

Two roles to fill.

Primary Priority for Role

  • Have a strong aesthetic for making visually stunning in game levels
  • Able to work from base white box levels and pretty using existing assets to final visual quality.
  • To interpret Artistic Vision from concept and add visual flare to level.
  • Maintain a balance between visual quality and performance requirements
  • Good communications skills between level design and graphics engineers

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Successful Producer experience with a clear track record of delivering AAA experiences on time and on budget. Experience of multiple game development cycles.
  • A self-starter with experience of driving internal teams, which requires a strong leader and a constant drive for results and on time delivery
  • Experience in creating, developing and running project management processes for a game team.  Exceptional Project Management and organization skills are required, with great attention to detail.
  • Strong experience of running scrum teams essential.  A Certified ScrumMaster you will also have skills in Agile estimating and some understanding/experience of the product owner role.
  • Some level of working experience and knowledge of Kanban would be ideal
  • Passion for Games. Both playing video games and a passion for understanding what makes them great.
  • Strong product sensibilities with multiple experiences of taking a product from concept to completion.
  • Proven ability to blend business, creative and project management decision making.
  • Strong cross-team communication and presentation skills – able to present to large groups and at all levels of the business. Able to work with creatives, technical people and non-technical people (e.g. PR and Marketing) alike. You provide clear, concise, and specific communication and when you participate in a meeting, you clarify, capture and follow up on all action items.
